Pros of Using AI in Everyday Work

By Leonid Kuznetsov

Introduction
Artificial intelligence (AI), particularly ChatGPT, is increasingly being used in everyday work to improve efficiency and speed. However, like any technology, its use comes with pros, cons, and risks that should be kept in mind.Pros and Cons of Using AI
ChatGPT, like any system, can make mistakes, which is especially critical for users who lack deep knowledge in the area they are working with. Blindly following AI’s answers can lead to undesirable consequences, especially in production environments where accuracy is key.
On the other hand, if the user is well-versed in the topic, AI can be a great assistant for saving time and quickly obtaining reference information. This is particularly relevant when it’s necessary to quickly gather information that would otherwise take a lot of time using traditional search methods. My Personal Experience with ChatGPT

  • Analyzing Large Logs:

In my experience, analyzing text logs with standard server tools took a lot of time, especially when I needed to quickly identify major errors. ChatGPT turned out to be a helpful tool for quickly analyzing and structuring logs, which significantly sped up the process.

  • Syntax Checking:

AI also assisted me in checking the syntax in bash scripts and Ansible playbooks. This helped avoid numerous errors and sped up the development process.

  • Creating Diagrams and Visualizing Data:

AI was used to create diagrams and graphs based on the data provided. This is especially useful for displaying dependencies between objects or generating graphs, which can be done faster and more efficiently with ChatGPT.How to Get Accurate Answers from AI
To get quality and accurate answers from ChatGPT or other AI systems, it’s important to formulate your queries correctly. The more detailed and clear the question, the more accurate and useful the answer will be. This rule applies not only to ChatGPT but also to all AI-powered tools. The more specific data and context you provide, the more accurate and helpful the response will be.
